Although Samsung has removed the SIPTV app from the official Samsung Apps Store for unknown reasons, it’s still possible to install it on your device. The steps are different for Tizen OS TVs and non-Tizen OS TVs.
Tizen OS
If you have a Tizen OS Samsung TV, you have to install it through an external USB drive. Just download and extract the Tizen Widget zipped directory from their official website to the root of the USB flash drive. Insert the flash drive to your Samsung TV and the app will automatically show up in the “My Apps” section of the TV. Make sure that the contents of the zip-file are extracted to the root of the flash drive. Once you do that, you can remove the flash drive and the app will still be on your TV.
Non-Tizen OS
If you have a Samsung TV that doesn’t run Tizen OS then you will have to download a different file. First of all, download the Orsay Widget file to the root of an external USB drive and insert the flash drive to your TV. The SIPTV app will appear in the Samsung Apps section on your TV. Once the app is available on the TV, you can safely remove the USB drive from the TV.
How to Setup SIPTV on LG Smart TV?
Luckily, the official LG app store still offers SIPTV app for download. So all you have to do is head over to the official LG Apps Store and look for SIPTV app in the Entertainment category. It takes just one click to download and install the app on your LG TV from there. Once installed, you can use SIPTV on your LG Smart TV without any issues at all.
If for some reason the app is not available in your country then sign in through any supported countries LG App Store and install the app from there. You can then switch back to your original country’s account and the app will still be installed and available for use on your TV.
How to add IPTV channels to SIPTV?
SIPTV is very user-friendly, so adding channels and playlists is not difficult at all. If you want to add IPTV channels to SIPTV then you are going to need a playlist from your IPTV service provider. The playlist can either be in M3U or TXT format as both are supported. Here’s how to add IPTV channels to SIPTV
1. Head over to SIPTV site.
2. Add your device’s MAC address in the MAC field.
3. Click the Browse button and select the M3U/TXT playlist that your network provided OR you can add a URL to the M3U/TXT playlist. You can also add the EPG URL if you have one.
4. Hit submit and restart the SIPTV app on your device.
Once the app is restarted, it should load up all the channels from your IPTV provider within minutes.
